QA Manager

As QA Manager, your goal is ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers by developing and enforcing quality assurance standards and measures within our QA and Development Teams.  


Roles and responsibilities 


  • Direct and oversee all aspects of our QA efforts including functional testing, automated regression testing, load testing, etc. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of QA measures and testing standards for new and existing applications  
  • Ensure consistent QA standards are maintained and enforced across all projects 
  • Analyze software quality and performance and seek ways to continuously improve  
  • Analyze test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. 
  • Direct the analysis of documentation and technical specifications for any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality. 
  • Assist with development of test plans and scripts for tracking software defects and fixes  
  • Conduct audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation. 
  • Coordinate testing of new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications 
  • Train, coach, and mentor QA Team members 
  • Plan and conduct performance appraisals of QA Team Members, administer disciplinary action, raises, bonuses, and promotions when necessary. 
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices. 
  • Keep abreast of QA tools, technologies and methods so that we can continually improve effectiveness and efficiency of the QA team. 


  • Proven experience as QA Manager or related role 
  • Direct experience working in a web application environment 
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards 
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities 
  • Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices and methodologies.  
  • Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
