UX Digital Design Lead

We are looking for a collaborative, creative, talented and personable UX Digital Design Lead, who can design with an eye for both professional and modern aesthetics as well as high conversions. You will work with development team, the SEO Manager, the QA team and other designers both in the US and abroad. We do continuous testing to improve conversion rates and ease of usability across over 100 consumer and attorney facing desktop and mobile sites and apps.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a balance between a solid creative design / UI / UX foundation, attention to detail with documenting design instructions for foreign development teams, and grace and flexibility with adjusting to design constraints based on test results, page load speeds, SEO, and feedback from other stakeholders.

You will be responsible for developing design strategies that drive higher conversions as well as increase ease of use for our websites and apps. You will work with stakeholders and other designers to deliver output seamlessly and in a timely manner. You'll help drive growth by inspiring others, leading innovative approaches to design, and driving customer-focused design projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Defining UX design objectives and establishing design strategies that will deliver highest user engagement and conversion.
  • Interpreting user behavior and coming up with user experience requirements that are concise and measurable
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and designers in order to come up with mockups, navigation strategies, wireframes, flow diagrams, prototypes, design assets and other requirements
  • Mentoring other designers and delegating work to them as appropriate
  • Serving as a UX Leader for all projects and initiatives, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all channels
  • Working collaboratively with the Development and others in the Marketing team under an agile framework
  • Articulating ideas and communicating concepts to developers and other business stakeholders
  • Actively participating brainstorming sessions and requirements workshops
  • Developing and managing productivity while continuously improving the design team’s production capabilities
  • Providing quality control over design outputs
  • Establishing and developing standards and best practices with the design and creative team

 Skills & Competencies:

 

  • 8+ years of experience in UX and interaction design on a senior capacity
  • Demonstrated portfolio of design work with focus on user engagement and conversion
  • Experience in closely collaborating with technical teams and ensuring designs work within their development libraries and frameworks
  • Experience working under a SCRUM framework
  • Experience with AB and MV testing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
